If you’re tired of reading about leafy greens and juice cleanses and how many different ways there are to cook kale – don’t worry, it’s not that kind of Spinach.
Spinach is a Canadian cannabis company owned by global cannabinoid company Cronos Group. Headquartered in Toronto, Spinach was launched in 2018 and has been supplying the Canadian recreational cannabis market with premium products ever since.
According to Mike Gorenstein, CEO of Cronos Group, the name “Spinach” was purposefully chosen as a part of their commitment to responsible distribution, as leafy greens do not typically interest kids. Spinach was launched to provide high-quality products to “fun-loving, mature adults who are sick of hearing about kale.”
In 2020, Spinach received the Kind Magazine Award for Best Hybrid Dried Flower of the Year for their strain Diesel, as voted by Canadian Budtenders.
