“It tastes lovely and there is a hint of weed but it’s super-duper unimpactful to the experience. Even if you hate the idea of dank anything you’ll still love this drink. With 2.5mg of nano emulsified THC I think this hits really well. It’s definitely like a head high with a little body high but that could just be me. For a beginner, drink one can and then wait 30 minutes before you have anymore because this is roughly going to hit you within 8 to 15 minutes. And you can see if that’s too much for you. 2.5mg. For more experienced users have a few more and enjoy.”

That’s the thing with these drinks. They are delicious but there are some issues that need to be worked out over time. When Health Canada inevitably changes their dry herb equivalency on beverages we will be able to buy 6 and 12 packs and the prices will eventually come way down! Or at least that’s our hope.

Douglasdale Cannabis’ Take
Most of us are really into Housplant’s Sparkling Grapefruit drink, except those of us who don’t like grapefruit anything! It’s like a Bubly with a nice floating experience. Perfect for a bbq or beach day. Price needs to come down a bit but like everything in the early stages of Canada’s legal cannabis industry, it will take time to develop. We expect drink prices to drop as they become more popular and Health Canada finally allows sales of 6 and 12 packs. But price aside, it’s an innovative product that we love having on our shelves.
