Kalifornia by Kolab Projects
Kalifornia by Kolab is as you might have guessed from the name- a collaboration. A collaboration with Lotus Cannabis Co.
If you haven’t heard of Lotus Cannabis, the short version is that they know what they are doing.
The long version is they are a craft cannabis producer in the Okanogan with decades of experience behind their name. A little more about Lotus- they have a similar collaboration with Qwest on Qwest’s Kalifornia strain. We are speculating here but you would have to assume these are similar products, which caught our attention given Qwests typical premium price point. With Lotus’ experience and attention to detail and Kolabs pricing- Kalifornia by Kolab is a great product for an even better value.
Kalifornia genetics are Nepali OG and 88 G-13 Hashplant. It has a fruity aroma and taste.
What People Are Saying
Dense Sticky Buds
“Kalifornia by Kolab x Lotus Cannabis Co, coming in at 24.6% and packaged on August 5th, $40/3.5g.
This one is definitely a treat. Fruity, gassy, floral & kush notes are what you get off the smell. Really tight, dense, sticky buds give it a great structure (Reminds me of Tyson if anyone has tried that). Smoke is super heavy but smooth, super white ash (up to simply bare standards) and high is going to have you sitting down afterwords.
Lotus Cannabis Co is not to be overlooked, in Okanagan BC these guys are doing craft cannabis the right way, definitely worth checking out more! Overall this is worth grabbing if you see it and would get again.”
“Great quality. The buds are smaller than most craft products I’ve had but they were super dense and ground up well. I found it to be pretty intense also. Definitely worth the price”
Flat as a Pancake
“Mine came flat as a pancake with buds even torn apart from smashing. Couldn’t hurt to put it in a bit bigger bag that doesn’t hulk smash the buds. Good herb tho.”
Wiggy420hero makes a good point. This can be problematic in the types of bags that Kolab packages in. We like the improved environmental impact but the aesthetics can definitely be compromised from the structure of the bags. We are mindful of this when we get our hands on the buds but it’s a bit out of our control prior to getting to us.
