Meat Breath by Gnomestar Craft Cannabis
Gnomestar Craft Cannabis is a craft cannabis grower out of Delta, British Columbia. We don’t often get photos like this one but when we do we HAVE to share it with you! Check out the 3.5g bud of their new strain, Meat Breath, we pulled out of the package.
Meat Breath is an indica-dominant marijuana strain that crosses Meatloaf and Mendo Breath. It has deep purples, bright greens, and orange hairs with thick trichome coverage. Meat Breath has a reputation for being VERY strong. It has this earthy and sweet aroma with a little diesel. The word i’m looking for is DANK.
What People Are Saying
My New Favourite
“My new favorite. It smells so rotten and smokes so smooth… some of the best bud ive had in a LONG time”
Man, This Stuff is Weird
“Man, this stuff is weird. It’s absolutely beautiful, with deep purple color with bright orange hairs, green undertones and a thick layer of white keefyness all over it. Literally smells like meat, like a recently thawed meat with a bunch of spices on it. It tastes close to the same, peppery, spicy, herbal, with a bit of a sweet meaty taste liken to pork ribs. Like I said, really weird. The high is body oriented, very relaxing, but it also has cerebral effects that make you feel very at ease. Overall, pretty good strain.”
“I loved the Red Congo from Gnomestar and really wanted to try their meat breath. As far as I know this is the first legal Thug Pug in Canada which is really cool. These guys have long had a reputation on Canada’s legacy market for being some of the best genetics around when grown by the right people. Gnomestar delivers with this Meat Breath. I actually think I prefer it to the Red Congo and this further cements them as the best legal grower in Canada.
Most pics of this that I have seen on social media have been one or two decent sized nugs making up the entire eighth. I was not as lucky and ended up with one medium nug and a bunch of smalls. It still looks and smells great and delivers in a vape as well.
The terpene profile (2.23% terps overall according the jar) is a bit Kushy with some anise or black liquorice. The high is quite strong and long lasting. A good mix of relaxing and heady.
The one downside to this is the price. Gnomestar seems to have two distribution deals in place. The Meat Breath is distributed by Indivia under their “artisan batch” line for about $60 an eighth after tax. The Red Congo and Comatose Kush are distributed by AgroGreens/Shelter and are $50-$55 a jar after tax. Indivia also uses cheap plastic containers (but do include a tiny Boveda) while AgroGreens/Shelter use very heavy glass jars. Hopefully we’ll see Gnomestar (and other craft LPs) using Shelter as their go to market partner as they seem to be driving consumers with slightly better pricing and packaging. Also Shelter does direct sales to medical users even with half os on most craft cannabis they carry.“
Thanks to Sasquatch_Jr for their always thorough reviews. Check out Reddit’s /recpics sub for more of these reviews. This is certainly a premium strain at a premium price but at Douglasdale we like to keep our premium strains as budget friendly as possible, you won’t see Meat Breath on our shelves for $60/3.5g
