Cannabis and Food, name a more iconic combo. The surrounding community of Douglasdale, Douglas Glen, and South East Calgary have been unbelievably welcoming to our business. We started the Douglasdale Munchy Tour to highlight some of our favourite local food spots in the area and to support other locally owned small businesses.
PIGOT’S BURGER CLUB – MUNCHY TOUR
Next Stop on the Douglasdale Munchy Tour is the new and already well reviewed – Pigot’s Burger Club. They opened this Tuesday and have an impressive 5,000 burgerheads following them on Instagram. I mean, it’s gotta be good right?
The Burger Club is marketing themselves as a pop-up but with this type of immediate following we’d be shocked if they didn’t stick around. Pigot’s Burger Club is brought to you by Chef Mike Pigot (You can follow him on Twitter here). Mike was previously a winning contestant on Guy’s Grocery Games, hosted by the meme king himself Guy Fieri. If you haven’t seen the show, contestants run around like crazy people stuffing ingredients into their shopping cart in a staged super market and then cook it up for Guy to try. It’s tons of fun, especially if you’re smoking some of Douglasdale Cannabis’ finest. Mike was also named Calgary’s ‘Best Chef’ in 2020.

WHAT WE ORDERED FROM PIGOT’S BURGER CLUB
Back to the burgs. Pigot’s Burger Club menu is simple. Burgers and more Burgers. They have the Single Cheese, the Double Cheese, the Triple Cheese (shout out Peter’s Drive in), the Bacon Cheese, the Mushroom Cheese, and last but not least Veggie. Options like the “Non-Meat-A-Tarian” Single, Double, and Triple Cheese, AND the Mushroom Cheese make for some great alternatives for our vegetarian stoner’s out there.

Easily one of the tastiest mushroom patties we’ve ever had!
We ordered the Classic Double Cheese and the “Non-Meat-A-Tarian” Mushroom Cheese Burger along with the Dirty Tots (Had to do it).
The double cheese reminded us a bit of Lil’ Empire but a little more in your face. If you haven’t checked out Lil’ Empire it’s a must try in Bridgeland, they’re Annex location is temporarily closed due to covid and they need our support more than ever just like all small businesses in the city. The Munchy Tour will definitely be making a stop at Lil’ Empire sooner than later.
The “Non-Meat-A-Tarian” Mushroom patty burger was delicious. Easily one of the tastiest mushroom patties we’ve ever had! And the Dirty Tots? Add fresh jalapeños to anything and we are pretty much sold. They use the same cheese on the tots as the burger, really tasty stuff!

Dirty Tots – With Fresh Jalapeños
Add fresh jalapeños to anything and we are pretty much sold.
All in all this was a Munchy Tour stop to remember. As of now, The Burger Club is only open for delivery and soon to be pick up. Check them out on skip the dishes or door dash to place your delivery and support this brand new small business!
Enjoy!
