BOAZ Pharmaceuticals is a Licensed Cannabis Producer, located in our own backyard in SE Calgary. Meaning strength in Hebrew, BOAZ, has been privately owned since opening in 2017 by David Isaak and 3 partners.

There are many things that set BOAZ aside from a typical Cannabis Producer, most notable being their true handcrafted process from seed to packaging. The watering, hang drying, trimming, curing, down to the packaging is all done by hand. Even with their pre rolls, each pre roll is packed down carefully with a trusty chop stick, individually weighed, hand twisted and trimmed. Every. Single. One. The detail and level of care used at BOAZ is why their products are always next level.
20,000 SQ/FT OF CANNABIS GOODNESS
BOAZ is a 20,000 sq/ft facility, which houses 2 nurseries, 18 grow rooms and 4 dry cure pods. Growing is done in individual Sea Canisters to ensure there is no cross contamination between products. Entry into each container is a process, like a surgeon going into an operating room – all employees need to sanitize, get new scrubs/hair nets and have a purpose to enter. Harvesting the plants is met with even more measures all with the end goal of providing consumers with the best product possible.
THE NEXT HIT CULTIVATOR
Nothing at BOAZ is rushed, including finding the next cultivator. Using the rotation grow methodology, this allows BOAZ to grow multiple genetics at once. While this allows them to have lots of the “grow” (haha), it certainly does not speed anything up. It takes upwards of 9-12 months per phenotype to see if it will meet the BOAZ standards. For it to make it under the BOAZ name, the important markers needing to be hit are the yield, potency and bud structure. Out of all the cultivators they try, approximately only 10% will make the cut.

All BOAZ products are made in small batches. Since everything is done by hand, this ensures that every last bud gets the TLC it needs. Dank Rainbow is an indica hybrid strain handcrafted by BOAZ, right here in Calgary. A combination of Death Bubba x Rainbow Punch, this strain balances sweet and sour for a smooth smoke and easy going high.
