Bow Valley OG #26
Just like it’s namesake, this strain is a beauty! Bow Valley OG #26 was grown in the Bow Valley at the OGEN facility. While the stellar bud can be reminiscent of the luscious dense forests in the Bow Valley, the real conversation note on this strain is the terpene levels which come in at OVER 6%!
LOCAL GROWN WEED
OGEN is a local craft cannabis producer located in the heart of downtown Calgary, with as mentioned above, another facility in Bow Valley. One thing that makes OGEN a craft cannabis producer is that they are dedicated to growing in small batches to ensure the quality of their weed. Small weed batches to OGEN are in grow rooms that are between 950sq/ft to at a max 1500sq/ft which is small but efficient. For instance, a larger cannabis producer’s grow room can vary in size up to 10 times the size of OGEN’s. Rather than relying on machines, OGEN is hands on with their weed. Every step down from planting to trimming is all done by hand! Bow Valley OG #26 is in good company, as some of the notable strains from OGEN are Space Flight Superstar #11, Freshly Baked #76 and Dosi-GMOsi #6.
TERPS FOR DAYS
Bow Valley OG #26 is a Sativa Dominant strain and is OGEN’s version of OG Kush. The THC levels on the Bow Valley OG #26 are in the mid levels between 16% – 21%. Moreover, the terpene profile on this strain is SHOWSTOPPING! Most weed strains will have between 2-4% terpenes in them. This guy comes in at just 6% terpenes! What does that mean? As a result of so many terpenes, it means this strain will be packed with flavour and aroma. The headlining terpenes in the Bow Valley OG #26 are Caryophyllene, Limonene, Myrcene and Ocimene. Not sure what terpenes are? You can read more about them on our blog with our brief intro titled “Weed 101 – Terpenes”. STICKIEST OF THE STICKY ICKY ICKY WEED
One reviewer of the Bow Valley OG #26 strain called it the “Stickiest of the sticky icky icky”. These dense buds sparkle like no other thanks to being covered in glistening trichomes, so we don’t doubt it! These big nugs have a beautiful depth of sage green to them, with tons of dark orange pistols. Upon opening that notable OGEN container, one is met with the instant aroma of a sweet fragrance mixed in with zesty lime ending with tart gasoline notes.
